The General Conditions stated below provides contract between individuals and Narrative Science which applies to the use of this website.

This website is owned and operated by Narrative Science. This website offers visitors the chance of retrieving journal articles based on topics relating to the field of Narrative Science. Individuals are also able to publish their research here and also potentially obtain the chance of becoming a reviewer for this website. By accessing this website, the individual had understood and approved the terms of this website.
Interactional Conditions with Narrative Science
Interactions include visitations to any Website; the submission, reviewing, approval or rejection and publication of articles.
The contract between individual and Narrative Science is personal and the individual is prohibited to be reassigned or transferred by said individual to any other person.
Privacy and Personal Data
Narrative Science comply with the European Laws on privacy and data protection. Narrative Science is not liable for any damage incurred by the individual due to insufficient attention of their side.
Ownership
Narrative Science is the owner of the narsci.org website, the software that makes up the website and encompasses all copyright and other intellectual property rights associated with those assets.
Submission of articles
If published, it would be available indefinitely, consisting of the author(s) and editor's personal information that would be displayed on this website. Additionally, the published article will be archived and stored in repositories and could be shared in other locations. By submitting the article, the author(s) agree to the publication of a limited amount of personal data.

When submitting, the individual declares that:
1. The article is not under consideration by any other journal.
2.The article would not be submitted anywhere else for publication, unless rejected by Narrative Science.
3.The person submitting has explicit consent of all co-authors to submit the article.
4.All contributors have been acknowledged adequately.
5.The article meets the criteria stated in the journal submission guidelines.
6.The author(s) have disclosed all relevant facts involving the author(s), article, the research, any relevant third-party rights and any potential conflicts of interest.

Publication
Submitted articles will undergo a thorough ethical and technical evaluations followed by a collaborative peer-review process, which the individual would be required for assistance.
Narrative Science retain the authority to remove any content and withdraw peer-reviewed articles that, in our judgement, violate any relevant terms or are deemed inappropriate.
Content Rules
All content submitted, whether peer-reviewed or not, must:

1. Be accurate following a thorough and diligent investigation.
2. Adhere to universally recognized scientific and academic standards, including accepted citation rules and provide relevant acknowledgments.
3. Not violate the intellectual property rights of any individual.
4. Avoid discriminatory and offensive nature, whilst avoiding promoting hatred and violence of any individual or group.
5. Reframe from disclosing any form of confidential information, without the consensus of the individual.

Narrative Science may remove any content deemed to have gone against the rules stated above.

Indemnification
The individual agrees to indemnify and hold Narrative Science harmless from any demands, loss, liability, claims or expenses (including legal fees), made against them by any third-party.
Modification of Terms
We retain the rights to alter the terms from time to time, at our sole discretion. Individuals should aim to review the updated terms periodically. When the terms have been updated, individuals that have published journals, became a reviewer and opted to subscribed would be notified of the material changes via email.
The continued use of our service would indicate the agreement to the updated terms of the website.
Law Preference and Resolution for Dispute
The agreement established between the individual and Narrative Science is governed by the laws of Singapore. The individual and Narrative Science shall aim to seek an appropriate resolution to any disputes through discussion, negation and mediation, before resorting to litigation.
Any unresolved dispute shall only be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court of Singapore.
